Terms of Service
App: Shader Mods for Minecraft Effective date: October 6, 2026
Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") before using the Shader Mods for Minecraft application (the "App"). They form an agreement between you and the App's developer ("we", "us", "our"). Downloading, installing, or using the App means you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the App.
1. Our Service
The App provides a catalogue of community-created shader packs, visual mods, addons, and related items that you can browse, download, and install into Minecraft Pocket Edition (Bedrock Edition). It is an independent, unofficial tool, not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with Mojang AB or Microsoft. "Minecraft" is a trademark of Mojang AB, and all rights in the Minecraft name and brand belong to their respective owners.
2. Free and Paid Content
The App contains both free and paid content:
- Free content can be unlocked at no cost by choosing to watch a rewarded advertisement.
- Paid content is unlocked by purchasing a subscription. An active subscription unlocks all premium content and removes advertising from the App.
The catalogue may change over time as items are added, updated, or withdrawn.
3. Subscriptions, Billing, and Refunds
Subscriptions are billed through your Apple App Store account at the price shown in the App before you confirm. Unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends, a subscription renews automatically and your App Store account is charged under Apple's terms. You may cancel at any time in Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions on your device; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and access continues until then. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
Refunds are handled under Apple's refund policy and can be requested at https://reportaproblem.apple.com. If you believe a charge was made in error you may also email us, and we will help where we can, though refunds for App Store purchases are decided and processed by Apple.
4. Minors and Parental Consent
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App, or older where the law of your region requires a higher minimum age. A minor may use the App only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
Any purchase or subscription made by a minor requires the prior consent of a parent or legal guardian. By allowing a minor to use a device with the App installed, the parent or guardian accepts these Terms on the minor's behalf and accepts responsibility for all purchases made through the App Store account on that device. We strongly recommend enabling Ask to Buy in Family Sharing together with Screen Time restrictions, so every purchase on a child's device requires the parent's approval. Refund requests for unauthorised purchases by minors are subject to Apple's refund policy.
5. Acceptance of Terms
Using the App constitutes acceptance of these Terms. We may revise them; the version in force, with its effective date, is always published on this page, and continued use after a revision means it is accepted. If a revision is unacceptable to you, your remedy is to stop using the App.
6. Intellectual Property
The App — its code, design, graphics, and other materials created by us — is our property and protected by intellectual property law. You receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App and the content you unlock for private, non-commercial purposes. Copying, modifying, redistributing, selling, or reverse engineering the App or its premium content is not permitted without our written consent. Content offered through the App may be created by third parties and remains the property of its creators.
7. Your Responsibilities
Use the App lawfully and in accordance with these Terms and any licences attached to third-party content. You are solely responsible for how you use the content you download — including any changes it makes to your Minecraft game or worlds — and for anything you create or share through the App. Do not misuse the App, attempt to bypass the subscription or the ad-unlock system, interfere with the App's operation, or seek unauthorised access to any related system.
8. Advertising
Without a subscription the App is supported by advertisements, including the optional rewarded ads that unlock free content, served by third-party networks such as Google AdMob. Any dealings between you and an advertiser are between the two of you; we are not responsible for third-party ad content or for the products and services advertised. An active subscription removes advertising.
9. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it — noting that deleting the App does not cancel an active subscription, which must be cancelled in Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions. We may suspend or terminate access without prior notice where these Terms are breached, where the law requires it, or where continuing to provide the App would create legal or operational risk. Provisions that by their nature survive termination — intellectual property, disclaimers, limits on liability — remain in force.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, that defects will be corrected, or that content available through it will meet your expectations or work with your version of Minecraft.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of data, loss of worlds or game progress, loss of profits, or device issues — arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App, even if the possibility of such damages was made known to us.
12. Privacy
Our handling of information in connection with the App is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Using the App means accepting the practices described there.
13. Dispute Resolution
Please contact us first at the email below — most issues can be resolved informally. Where that fails, a dispute is handled under applicable law by the competent courts of the place in which the defendant is located, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
14. Miscellaneous
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force. Our failure to enforce a right or provision is not a waiver of it.
