Terms of Use — Verity Horror Mods & Addons

Please read these Terms before using the mobile application Verity Horror Mods & Addons (the "App"), provided by Techcoc. By downloading or using the App you accept these Terms.


1. WHAT THE APP DOES


The App is an independent tool that helps you discover, preview and install community-created content — add-ons, skins, maps, texture packs and shaders — intended for use with Bedrock Edition. The App is not affiliated with Mojang Studios or Microsoft, and it does not modify or distribute the game itself. Bedrock Edition must be installed separately to use compatible content.


2. HORROR CONTENT NOTICE


The App is built around horror content. It contains frightening imagery, sudden scares (jump scares), dark atmospheres and unsettling sounds. It is rated 13+ and is not suitable for young children or for anyone who is sensitive to this kind of content. Use headphones and a lit room at your own discretion.


3. FREE CONTENT AND PREMIUM CONTENT


Some content is free and may be unlocked by watching an advertisement. Premium content requires an active subscription, which also removes all advertising.


4. SUBSCRIPTION, PAYMENT AND RENEWAL


The subscription is purchased through your Apple App Store account at the price shown in the App at the time of purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple ID on confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Deleting the App does not cancel the subscription.


5. REFUNDS


All purchases are processed by Apple, and all refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's refund policy. We cannot issue, approve or reverse a charge. To request a refund, go to https://reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with the Apple ID used for the purchase, select the item and follow the steps. If you need help finding the right screen, write to techcocteam@gmail.com and we will guide you through it.


6. MINORS, PARENTS AND ACCIDENTAL PURCHASES


You must be at least 13 years old to use the App, or older if your country requires it. A subscription or any other purchase made by a minor is valid only with the prior consent of a parent or legal guardian.


If you are a parent or guardian, please set up these protections before handing the device to a child:


• Family Sharing → Ask to Buy, so every purchase needs your approval;

• Settings → Screen Time → Content & Privacy Restrictions → iTunes & App Store Purchases → In-app Purchases → Don't Allow;

• Require Face ID, Touch ID or a passcode for every purchase.


If a child has made a purchase without your permission, request a refund from Apple at https://reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple decides these requests; we do not have the ability to refund an App Store charge, but we will help you with the process if you contact us.


7. AGREEING TO THESE TERMS


We may update these Terms. Continuing to use the App after an update means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the App.


8. OWNERSHIP AND LICENCE


We retain all intellectual property rights in the App itself. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the App for private, non-commercial purposes. Content created by third parties remains the property of its respective creators, and is provided for use with the game in accordance with the creators' own terms.


9. HOW YOU MAY USE THE APP


Use the App lawfully. You are responsible for any content you install and for any changes it makes to your worlds — back up anything you care about before installing. You may not bypass, disable or interfere with the subscription system or the advertising system, decompile or reverse-engineer the App, or redistribute content obtained through it.


10. ADVERTISING


Advertisements are delivered by third-party networks, including Google AdMob. We do not control and are not responsible for the content of advertisements or for anything advertisers offer.


11. ENDING USE


You may stop using the App at any time. Deleting the App does not cancel an active subscription; cancel it in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. We may suspend or end access if these Terms are breached or if the law requires it.


12. NO WARRANTIES


The App is supplied "as is" and "as available", with no warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that every piece of third-party content will work with every version of the game or on every device.


13. LIMITS ON LIABILITY


To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages, including lost data or lost game progress, arising from use of the App.


14. PRIVACY


Our handling of information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.


15. RESOLVING DISPUTES


Please contact us first at techcocteam@gmail.com so we can try to resolve the matter informally. Any dispute that cannot be resolved this way is subject to the applicable law and the competent courts.


16. GENERAL


If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions stay in force. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
